Is this a private tour?
Yes, this tour is totally private. No one else will be on the boat with you.
How many people can fit on the boat?
A maximum of 8 guests can fit on the boat. It is a beautiful wooden Venetian speed boat, so there is not a lot of space for more guests!
Is our guide a fully-licensed guide?
You will have a private captain who is not a professional, fully-licensed guide, but knows a great deal about Paris. He will remain silent unless you ask him questions.
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
Yes, kids of any age can join on this private tour. There is no limit.
Can the captain drop us off somewhere else?
There are very strict docking rules and the boat cannot dock anywhere else unless authorizations by the city of Paris have been issued in advance (supplements apply). Moreover, private boats do not have the priority, so if there is a public passenger boat docked, you will have to wait until it leaves to hop aboard your private boat.
How consistent are the snacks served on board?
These are only snacks (nuts) and cannot replace a full meal. These come only to accompany the champagne.
Can we bring our own food and beverage on board?
As long as you keep the boat clean, you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Can I get sea sick?
If you go on a tour in the morning, the Seine River is quite calm, and there are no waves. But later in the afternoon and especially at sunset, the large amount of boats on the river cause a lot of waves, and therefore, the ride can be a little bumpy. In that case, sea sickness might appear for those that get it quickly.
